At your first appointment, Dr. Austin will conduct a thorough examination, identify and explain any orthodontic problems you may have, advise you as to whether treatment is indicated, and answer any questions you may have. This initial consultation usually lasts about 30 minutes and is free of charge. If you have had a recent panoramic radiograph, it is very helpful if you would bring a copy or have your general dentist send them to our office. If you are ready for treatment, and scheduling allows, full orthodontic records including impressions, photos, and additional radiographs may be made immediately following the initial exam.
