Dr. Kevin R. Austin earned both his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. While in dental school, he maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA and graduated first in his class. Dr. Austin then went on to complete an orthodontic residency at the University of Iowa. There, he received his Certificate in Orthodontics and his Master of Science degree.

Dr. Austin is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. This certification process demonstrates Dr. Austin’s continued pursuit of clinical excellence. In addition, Dr. Austin is a member of many professional organizations such as the American Association of Orthodontists, the Midwestern Society of Orthodontics, the American Dental Association and the Greater Springfield Dental Society. He is also a member of a Tweed Orthodontic Study Club comprised of orthodontists from Southwest Missouri and Eastern Kansas. In his free time, Dr. Austin loves spending time with his wife, Hilary, and their son, Zachary, all of whom are active in their church in Ozark, Missouri. In addition, Dr. Austin is an avid football fan and enjoys fishing, hunting and playing music.
